URGENT: USPS delievery at SF CKGS center

Hello there,
I sent my NEW-PIO for Minor application package via USPS with certified and return recipe requested last week, they tried to deliver my application on Sat Oct 4th, at San Francisco CKGS center, but the business was closed and they will try to attempt delivery again today, but I found out that the center is even closed today, so after 2nd delivery USPS will not re-deliver until the center requests for the re-delivery(they just have to call the number on receipt left by USPS) or else go to USPS and claim package. (Which I doubt they will do).
Does SF CKGS call USPS to redeliver the packages?I called USPS, but they said, I, as sender can't request re-delivery of the package and only receiver can request it.


USPS said after 15 days of unclaimed package, they send it back to sender, I can't wait that long, I am traveling on Nov 25

Please help me what to do, or if anything like this happen to anyone?.

Call the local post office directly. You can look up their phone number online based on their zip code and explain what happened or if CKGS can provide you the GREEN slip that USPS leaves behind you can call USPS and request re-delivery(unless CKGS won't do that).
