Hi All,
This is regarding my newborn kid's PIO .
I am an Indian citizen married to Bangladeshi. My Kid is born in USA & by birth is American.
Myself :- Indian
SPOUSE :- Bangladeshi
Child :- American & his Grand Parents are Indian Citizen by birth.
PIO Criteria States :-
`Every person of Indian origin who is not a citizen of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other countries`
`Either of his/her parents or grandparents or great grandparents were born in, and were permanent residents in India, provided neither was at any time a citizen of any of the above mentioned excluded countries`
Though One of my Kid's parent is Bangladeshi but My Kid's Grandparents are citizen(by birth) of India & neither was at any time a citizen of any other country.
Based on above criteria, Is my child eligible for PIO ?
