  • Endorsement of name change during naturalization process

I acquired my cetizenship in year 2000 .I requested a name change on my N-400 application, but I only received my certificate of naturalization after the oath ceremony. I did not get a separate document showing my legal name change in year 2000.Now I need it for " India Renunciation certificate". I acquired us cetizenship at Newark USCIS. What should I do? can some one help???????????

You should contact the clerk at the court where your Naturalization took place. They should be able to pull your records from 2000 and provide you a copy of Name Change Certificate.
