SF CKGS - Wait for email to send passport for matchup? Or send anyway?

Anyone who has recently received their OCI from San Francisco - Does CKGS send an email/call requesting to send passport for match up? Or can I send the passport as soon as it says documents are received at the Consulate back from Delhi?

Based on other posts, I am going to FedEx the documents over this Friday and not wait for email/phone call.

Hi. How long between the status of "forwarded to the Indian Embassy/Consulate for decision making" and the "documents are received at the Consulate back from Delhi" for you? Only asking because you have sent to SF and done so recently. Same as me. Thanks!

Hi Naysay,

In my case it was 12-SEP & 14-OCT for the two events you are asking about.
