Hi,
I applied for my child's pio card. My wife and I are both candian citizens, we were married in Oman when we had Indian passports, but we didn't get spouse name added in our Indian passports. My marriage certificate is in Arabic and I gave translation.
The indian consulate has asked me to get my marriage certificate attested from ministry of external affairs. My question is there is no requirement for parents marriage cert for minor pio in the checklist.
When I applied in person the bls centre asked for the copy of marriage cert. Should I just do a post application without marriage cert copy?
It's really difficult to get the cert attested as first I need to get it attested from Muscat Indian embassy who want us there present physically to register the marriage.
