Indian Visa for 13 month old baby.

Both me and my wife are on H1 Visa living in Houston and have a valid Indian Passport.

We need to travel to India in the comming December,2014.

I am planning to get a visa for my child and I have taken a appointment with CKGS on 11/07/2014.

I have just learnt that I can have Entry Visa also for my child.

Now,I am confused,which visa is correct for my child.

On the application form,I have mentioned Tourist Visa as I was not aware of Enty Visa?

Is Tourist Visa the correct visa or I need to get Entry Visa?

Also,is the child presence required to get the visa at the CKGS?

Can I sign on all the forms as a Name of Applicant, as the child is too small to write?

I tried to call the CKGS and I was put on hold for 30minutes without any reply......

Any inputs will be helpful....

I went to India this year , with my 3 month old boy; got a PIO card. took 5 weeks to receive PIO after i sent the application.
