My kids born in US in 2011 and we planned to settle in India, hence we applied Indian passport and went back to India with my Kids Indian passport. [We did not take US passport at that time]
Fortunately, I had to come back to USA due to my nature of work, I and my wife got US Visa, but my kids by birth they are US citizen and they can’t get US visa. So I applied their US passport at Chennai US Consulate and got the US passport and travelled back to US on month of June 2014.
Now, I am in the process of getting PIO card for my kids, in order to do this,
1. Do I need to surrender my Kids Indian passport and get Renunciation done?
2. If so, can I apply Renunciation and PIO card application together?
3. I don’t have Indian Naturalization Certificate for my Kids as they born in USA. How can I get this now to submit while surrendering my kid’s Indian passport?
Also, please let me know what is the correct process to get PIO card for my kids. Now they have both US and Indian passports.
