Do I need to take my infant son for a walk in submission for PIO card?

I am unable to make an online appointment for submitting PIO application for my infant son at Atlanta location.

I am planning on doing a walk in submission at the CKGS center.
Do I need to take my son with me for doing the submission of the documents?
If some one could share their experience, it will be really helpful.
