OCI matchup delay

I applied for my daughter's OCI matchup in May 2014 (right after CKGS opened shop). A couple of months after I applied, I heard from CKGS that the photos I sent were not clear and I had to resubmit them. Finally after a long wait, I noticed the status of the OCI application on the external ministry website change to "DOCUMENTS printed and sent to ATLANTA consulate". I proactively called CKGS to enquire and was told to take a print out and ship original US Passport -which I did on Oct 11th. Now it has been a month and I have been calling CKGS about 20 times and another 20 emails only to get a canned response that they would get back to me with a response but never did.

Would you happen to know how long does it typically take once we ship the original passport to Atlanta office? I know they said its a 5-10 business days on the website for the matchup process, but it has been almost a month and I am still in the waiting game with no light at the end of the tunnel. My travel dates are approaching in a couple of weeks... Would I be able to go and pick up my passport from CKGS office or the consulate in Atlanta if I dare a trip?

We got a call and email from CKGS DC one week after the shipping date from India. We sent original passport next day and got it back with OCI card in 4 days. so about 2 weeks process overall after OCI was shipped from India.
