Which Visa for Minor Child of US Citizens with OCI Cards?

My wife, newborn child and I plan to visit India later this year. Both my wife and I have OCI cards but I'll need to apply for a visa for my child. Which visa is my newborn eligible for - tourist or entry? I am seeing conflicting information on this. Also, do you know how long it would typically take? We travel at the end of December.
