Should minor be present in the US to apply for PIO card?
I got the Birth Certificate, SSN and US Passport for my kid. But we (me and my family) need to go to India urgently within a month. My family is not planning to come back to the US, but I may return after a couple of months. In this situation I have a few questions.
1) How fast I can get a tourist visa to India?
2) How fast I can get a PIO card?
3) If I cannot get the PIO card within a month, is it possible to get the PIO card even if the minor is not present in the US (considering that I can carry my kid's passport along with me for the application process)?
