Hello,
I am planning to apply for renunciation and PIO in atlanta. The Atlanta indian counsel website indicates 7-10 business days. but the ckgs email indicated 4 weeks plus 15 business days for renunciation. Can someone shed their recent experience with atlanta. Most of the post indicates PIO for minors. Also, if i get visa instead do i need to pay for PIO again? Since PIO is now valid for life time does it make sense to apply for OCI at all?
Appreciate your responses. I am planning to visit in india in a month so i wonder whether it is wise to apply for PIO in person in atlanta office
