Hello! So thankful for this forum as I have not been back to India in over 20 years and am very confused by CKGS' website.
I am a naturalized US citizen (of Indian origin) heading to India in January for a vacation. I need to get my visa + renunciation done. Made appointment to go to NY in person next week. Was wondering will I get both the visa & the renunciation in hand that same day, or will I still have to wait for it to be mailed to me?? If it has to be mailed, what is the average turn around time? Was initially just going to do visa on arrival, but since we have to go to NY for renunciation anyway, figured we'd kill two birds with one stone and get both done.
I also only made one appointment (for the visa), and tried making another for the renunciation but it wouldn't let me, as it said I already had an appointment. I just want to make sure I don't need 2 separate appointments for them.
Thanks for the help
