Hi, I am an indian citizen and my spouse of a different nationality, so according to what the earlier scheme was for PIO. My wife was eligible for getting a PIO card on the basis of being spouse of Indian citizen after completion of 1 year of the marriage. Now since the PIO scheme has been withdrawn and merged with OCI since 9th Jan 2015, will my wife be eligible to get the OCI card? Anybody knows the new eligibility rules for OCI?
