Parents renunciation + Parents OCI + kids (US born) OCI ... all 3 in same package

We are starting the OCI process. I am grateful for the help being provided on this forum.

Can all three of the above be applied in one package?
Is the shipping charges ($15) paid per person, or just one for the whole family?
Do we send one combined MO/DD for all combined? Or should it be per person, or per application (separate for renun, OCI etc)?

No. According to the checklist, if applicant is a minor, the renunciation of parents has to be completed beforehand, and the relevant proof of renunciation has to be included with the OCI application. You will have to get your renunciation certificate ( took us about 10 days to get it from NY Consulate/CKGS)first.

You may then send all applications in one package. However, you will have to pay the $15 courier fee for return of documents separate for each applicant, and the documents will be mailed to you in separate packages, even if they are being mailed at the same time. I would suggest making online payment on the CKGS website as the best option.

This is my advice, based on my experience, but you should call CKGS and ask them since rules are being changed frequently, and interpretations are inconsistent.
