OCI status

Hi Guys,
I applied for OCI for my kid on March 2 and the status on the government website still says "under process". Its been more than 2 months and i am not sure where its stuck. I sent an email to BNShetty and he/she mentioned that the application is stuck at the consulate and asked me to contact them to expedite. When i contact consulate they don't respond to emails or phone calls(even in the allocated 2-4pm time when they are supposed to take calls). CKGS say they have sent the documents to consulate and there is not much they can do.

Does anyone have similar experience?, Any suggestions as to what to do next?

Thanks visak. I should have mentioned in original post my consulate is San Francisco. Does anyone have similar emails for SFO.

Just an update - i sent an email to [email protected],[email protected],[email protected] g. I had received an email from CKGS yesterday that they will escalate the issue to consulate and today when i checked the status it shows up as processed. Just letting you guys know in case someone else has the same issue later.

I am in a similar boat as you were, my paperwork was acknowledged by the SF Consulate on March 12, 2015 but has been "under process" even until today May 25, 2015. I have emailed CKGS and they are escalating the issue with the consulate. Mr. BN Shetty told me the same thing, it is something that the consulate has to do. I have tried to email everyone at the SF consulate including BC Joshi and call but no one responds or picks up the phone. I hope with CKGS escalating the issue it will get updated very soon. I am waiting to take up a job in India.
