  • OCI holder, wife Pakistani, can daughter get OCI?

I was born in India, now a U.S. citizen, and I hold OCI. My wife is a Pakistani citizen; she is not a U.S. citizen. My daughter was born in the U.S. and is a U.S. citizen. Can my daughter get an OCI? I've asked CKGS, and I get a different response each time. The particulars form asks if the applicant's parents are Pakistani citizens so I'm a bit worried.

    Thanks

Here is what OCI rule says in MHA site, so your kid eventhough USA born might not be eligible to get OCI due to one of the parent was a Pakistani.
Check with Indian consulate as well before applying for OCI.

Can Minor children apply for OCI?

Yes,But OCI Card should not be granted to a minor child whose one parent is eligible
for OCI and the other parent is or was ever a Pakistani or Bangladeshi National.
