Hello Friends,
We need your help here, we are in big problem it seems. Here is the situation.
My parents got their Passport (Indian) in 2010. A witness (neighbor) which my parents used at that time (during the local or area police station verification) is giving us problem, he has now reported (in local police station) that my mom-dad forced him to witness their passport application in 2010. He also told police now that he didn't know them well at that time. So he is threatening my parents saying he will get the police to surrender or cancel their passports.
So we are wondering if this can even happen (surrender or cancel their passports)? We are not sure why he is even doing that? my parents are old and they live alone so we are thinking this witness guy is after some money but we dont want to do that. Just trying to get your opinion as what should we do now as now my parents got a call from local police station to meet them within a week.
