Hi Friends,
Need an urgent guidance on passport renewal INDIA.
My passport expired on 5-Jul-2012.
While applying for reissue of passport there are two option
(a)Validity expired within 3 years/ Due to expire.
(b)Validity expired more than 3 years ago.
I applied under "NORMAL" and selected the option (a) and submitted the form.
But now while scheduling the appointment under "NORMAL" the scheduled date is 09-JUL-2015, which means the validity is after 3 years ago [the 3 year date of expiry is : 05-JUL-2015].
I haven't paid the money, what I want to know the validity date is from the application date or appointment scheduled date, If it is appointment scheduled date then now what can i do and should i go ahead and make the payment for "NORMAL" scheme.
