Hello All,
We are traveling to India on some urgent personal work on July 3rd and so applying for entry visa for my kid ( Kid is US Citizen and Parents Indians ) and when going the application got few questions , Could some one please help me on these ? ( I live Philadelphia and so sending the application to NEW YORK )
1) It mentioned I can post the application for entry visa , but when looking at "ADDITIONAL PARTICULAR FORMS FOR VISA SERVICES " the declaration says "I hereby certify that I, the applicant for whom the visa is requested, am physically present in the consular jurisdiction of the Consul General of India, New York, at the time of applying for visa."
Q:- Do I have to go there to submit it or I am sorry got confused by looking at the above lines
2) Mandatory check list says "Parents Valid Visa or Application for Visa applied for along with Minor’s application." I am on Advance Parole .
Q :- Can I just put copy of my Combo card copy
3) Check list doesn't ask you to notarize any copies other the two forms .
Q:- But I read somewhere I have to notarize all the copies .. Is it so ?
4) It says we can get Visa in 3to 5 days .
Q:- do you guys think I can get it back by 3rd July ? Or is it gets delayed ..? Any one has any experiences on it ? Or is there any way quicken the process?
