Permanent immigration to India for Bangladeshi

Great many countries around the world have some sort of naturalization processes which allows people from other countries to become lawful permanent residence.

I'm wondering if India has any legal immigration procedure like that? for which Bangladeshi origin are not excluded.

I couldn't find anything googleing. Hope you guys can confirm it.

Please refer to section 6(1) of Indian citizenship act. You will need to reside in India for a minimum period of 12 years for this.
