What are my options here? Pls advise

Hi All,

I am a British Citizen, born in the UK, who has an OCI. I am married to a British born girl, whose parents were born in Pakistan. So the simple question I have is : -

1. I don't believe my wife can get an OCI, is this correct?

2. Will my kids be able to qualify for an OCI?

Even if I am an OCI holder myself? Kids cant get one through myself?

That is my understanding of the rules, as these children are "tainted" with Pakistani lineage. The interesting question is, how will the government of India ever find out? If you review the documents required, it appears that you will not submit any information that in fact reveals your spouses and childrens Pakistani lineage. Where I live OCI is applied for through Cox & Kings, different processors may have different document requirements.
