Is U visa printed on recent OCI applicattion

Hi,
I have received recently my baby's OCI card along with USA passport from CJKS(7/9/2015). The USA passport dont have any U visa printed. After contacting with CKGS they said with notice from embassy dated 29th Jan 2015 U visa stamp on USA passport not needed.
Is this case occurred with anyone? Anyone traveled w/o U visa only with OCI card?

CKGS is right, I got my OCI with out U Sticker and I got confirmation form CKGS that its no longer stamped in the Foreign Passport. No, I have not travelled yet on the New OCI Card and Foreign Passport without U Sticker.

It is not required to have U Sticker in your passport anymore. Also, notice that they have added' Life long Visa' stamp in your OCI card.
