How to get tourist visa extension in INDIA for a minor US citizen.

Hi,

My daughter is a US citizen and does not have PIO/OCI card and currently she is in INDIA in a six months tourist visa. Her tourist visa is going to expire on 2nd Sept 2015.

She can't travel back to US as her parents(indian citizen) does not have valid US visa.

What is the process to get her tourist visa extended or what is the process to stay in INDIA after visa expired?
