How to cancel Indian Passport and How to apply for OCI card?

Hi All,

I just got US Citizen on July, 29th 2015. Now I want to know that Do i need to apply for US passport first or I have to cancel my Indian passport first? And how to cancel my Indian passport and How to apply for OCI card? Can I apply for cancellation of Indian passport and OCI card at same time?

i didn't apply for oci but i did apply for visa two three months ago. and there is a question on the paperwork for US/Foreign passport number so I believe it'll be same for OCI and you must apply for US passport before you can surrender your indian passport.
