I have an OCI application submitted for my US born son which was sent to CKGS on Feb 22, 2015. The application was submitted to SF consulate on March 4th, 2015. It has been in 'under process' state from that date and no updates after that. I have been calling CKGS multiple times without much luck. Per them, they can't do much once the application is submitted to consulate and the application is currently with Delhi consulate. They were also not willing to provide any contact name/phone number. The person who answered, indicated that they would submit an inquiry but it's been weeks since that. Many folks that I know who submitted the app couple of months after me have already received their OCI card. Does anyone know if there is a way to escalate or contact someone at the embassy to know the status?
