  • Sworn affidavit for two kids

I have few question; I am trying to call Consul General of India SFO (CGISC) from past 2 hours but line is busy. Here are the two particular cases I need help with.

My Son: His passport is getting expired in May 2016 and he is planning to come united states in Nov 2015. I heard/read that upon his entry, his i-94 will get only 7 month of validity post that we would have to renew his passport and re-enter US to extend his i-94. In order to avoid this mess, we are planning to renew his passport in India but since I am in united states, can my spouse apply for his renewal of passport (me and my spouse both have each other’s name endorsed in our passports).

My Daughter: we need to apply for a fresh passport for her in India.

    Questions:

    1. Is Affidavit required from CGISC in order for my spouse to apply for passports kids(our names are endorsed in each other passports as spouse name)
    2. Will I require two affidavits (one par child)?
    3. I just got my temp driving license, can that be used as address proof in CGISC?

Does anyone here have experience in sending two applications (twins??) in one go? Since my original passport will be sent in application, how can I send two applications together to save time?

    Thanks
