Can i apply for OCI after getting Indian VISA

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for Indian VISA/OCI for my son (2 months old, have US passport).
We are planning a trip to India in January 2016. Which is 2 months from now.

As OCI process might take more than 2 months, I would like to apply for India VISA (2 weeks processing time)

My question's are
1. After i come back from India trip (march 2016), can i apply for OCI ? or
2. Can i apply for India VISA and OCI at the same time ? (sometime this month)

Just wanted to update this thread:
I got confirmation from CKGS that we can apply for Tourist/Entry VISA and OCI card processing at the same time.
Also, I got to know one interesting fact while inquiring about this, parents of US born child should have a valid VISA / I797 and should not expire in next 90 days from date of applying.

Our I-797 is getting expired within 90 days from now. Hence, can't apply for child Indian VISA/OCI.
