Passport Renewal with valid I-94

Hi,

My L1 visa expired and currently living in US on I-94. My I-94 expires in 2017. Now, I need to renew my son's passport. His passport expires in June-2016. Please let me know if my I-94 form acts as proof of legal status OR Do I need to prepare notarized affidavit for legal status.

Technically you should be fine as you are having valid / legal stay.. But Indian passport centers in US dont understand that.. So good luck..

They will generally accept I-94.
