India's Tourist / Visitor Visa @Washington - Ticket on Christmas

I got my ticket booked for 25th December thinking i had visa for 10 year from 2008 but its not(only 5). Application being delivered to Washington on 4th. got first updated in the system on 8th.

Today is 14th which is 10 days away from traveling date. What are the chances of it reaching CKGS and then to me on time? each document with application is in order with requirement so it shouldn't take more then normal time frame. so, my worries is hyped or it can work out just on time?

You can wait for this week otherwise do India visa on arrival.

Got visa on time. Ckgs sent it yesterday and will receive passport today. Btw, It takes 3-5 business days at embassy normally I heard which seems to be true in my case.
