Hello Guys,
I am trying to apply for my Indian passport renewal and one of the documents required is the Notarized copy of my wife's passport. My wife is currently in India and isn't coming back to US for a few months.
Since I do not have the original passport with me over here, I cannot get a notarized copy done in US. My question was whether I can get a notarized copy of her passport mailed to me from India and use that to submit the application. Basically would they accept passport copy that is notarized in India or not ?
Is there any other work around through which I can get her passport copy notarized without having the original document in US ?
