  • [FYI] OCI new / re-issue document check list

    Friends

I noticed that in last couple of days CKGS has uploaded a new checklist for documents [https://www.in.ckgs.us/resources/pdf...-us-minor.pdf]. While the content is more or less same, I find that now we must notarize every freaking document. Even if you find a 5$ notary nearby, you are looking at 50$ expense. This is insane.

    Thanks

if is for Adult applicant, nothing is required to be notarized, if minor applicant only parental authorization for minor to be notarized. and do not send any original and current passport, only physical passport are OCI card and Last held passport with U-visa on, and passport copy only information pages not complete pages. further details may message me to discuss

Your city library will have free Notary. At least mine does in New Jersey. And Adult applications do not require any notary, I think. I just applied for self and child...
The Child application requires a lot of notarization
