Re-issue Passport - will not accept shipping addresses?

Hi,

I am trying to get my family member's expired 10-year passport reissued through the CKGS website. However, whenever I get to Step 4 (Submission and Collection Mode), no matter what address I enter, after I do "Perform Address Check", I get a message from the webpage saying that the address is wrong. Even when both the submission and collection fields are properly filled out, I get a message from the webpage saying that I need to 'select an address'.

I am confused - in the SUBMISSION section, we're supposed to enter the address of the CKSG Application Center for our jurisdiction, right? And in the COLLECTION section, I have to enter my home address, where I want the passport shipped back?

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any and all help is appreciated! Thank you!

I have faced the similar issue, when I enter my address in both places and perform the address check it is showing error message saying address is incorrect.

I have sent a mail to CKGS and there is no response till 2 days. Hence I have directly called the customer care number given in the site. Person from customer care took my details and solved the problem on the phone itself by submitting the address by him. After that there is no problem.

However while connecting to the call we need to wait for approximately 15min in line.

And we need to enter our address only in both the places (both From you to CKGS case, and From CKGS to YOu case which is for return purpose). This poing I have asked over the phone and they confirmed.

Here is the another solution for this problem. If we use Mozilla firfox version higher than 36 for the internet browsing, this problem will not come.

This has nothing to do with the browser. Its just bad coding. if you do not have an apt number, just enter your address 1 data in address 2 field as well and then validate the address. I just tried 4 browsers and this technique worked in all of them.
