US Residence Proof for Passport Renewal

I'm collecting documentation for Indian passport renewal and one of the requirements is proof of US residence. I have no physical proof of residence/address - all of mine are available online only, since I have paperless billing for everything. And, my driver's license uses an older address.

So can I download and print a copy of mortgage statement or utility bill from the web and use that for us residence proof? I was told by a notary that they can notarize this, but I would have to write a disclaimer on the document saying this was not an original.

Anyone run into this situation before?

Better to request for an original copy from provider (ex: utility/electric bill). they will send within week's time..
