Passport Renewal: Question 22 about Lost/Damaged Passport

Hi,

I am filling up the passport application form. My current passport expires in Jan 2017, hence trying to renew (re-issue) it. My current passport was a re-issue due to a lost passport.

I need some clarification regarding Question 22 "No. of lost/damaged passport" for my situation.

Do I need to mention about my lost old passport or this is just for those applicant who are applying for re-issue due to lost passport ?

Please suggest.
