Hi There
I am looking for advise on a current application for an OCI for my mum from the UK
She was born in Uganda, and then moved to UK when she was 11 . I have her Ugandan Birth Certificate and her UK passport
Her mum was Born in India and we have a Birth Certificate which has been notarised in India and her Ugandan Passport, which mentions my Mum as her child
I also have my mums dads Ugandan Passport , but my mum is not mentioned in this Passport
Unfortunately the application was rejected as they said the notarized date on the birth certificate is not valid.
My mums sisters and brothers have an OCI card
so my question is that if a write an affidavit confirming all the details and get this notairsed in UK, do you think the application will successful.
Is there anything else i can do ?
