Extend stay after eTV

In india for H1b stamping which is going to take probably longer than 30 days due to complications caused by USCIS but infant is on eTV in India which is granted for 30days only. What are the best options to increase the stay??

i THINK U can extend since its an exception (and also for infant).. Did u check with local FRRO?
