Information Required on OCI Matchup Process

Dear All,

Here is my Situation.

I have applied for India entry visa for my daughter( 2 months old) and got the visa. And i am thinking of applying for OCI card as well.

But we have plans to go to India in a month and leave my wife and baby in India for more than 6 months.

My question is when my baby is in India can i get her passport through courier to USA and submit it for Match up process??


Or is it good to apply for OCI when my daughter is in USA?

Please let me know your thoughts

I would suggest applying when your baby is in US
