OCI in lieu of PIO, how long?

Hello,
I have done all the necessary for the OCI in lieu of PIO, now my documents have been sent to Delhi. I am now sitting and waiting to hear from CKGS to send my documents for Match-up. I check my status continuously as required. My question is for those who have already been through this and have received OCI card from Delhi, how long on average is it taking for Delhi to send the OCI card? I applied at the Houston center.

In our case, we applied for OCI for spouse and child (US born) together on March, 2015, got the OCI for the child within 3 months, but the Spouse's case has been pending for a year and still waiting. Even one of the representatives from CKGS mentioned in an email that Spouse's OCI will take indeterminate amount of time since it goes to Ministry in India. So looks like when they removed the PIO, it made it lot more difficult for some people to get OCI who otherwise would have gotten it very easily under PIO.
