Passport error

Hi Friends,

I got my passport issue 6 years back from Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India
At that time I found out that there was a error in the passport
on the last page of the passport in the coloumn of father's name, they had included my name again.

I did not do anything at that time.
Now for the last 2 years I am in US

Now I want to bring my father to US for a short visit - sponsored visa basically

I have two questions
1.) Can I use the same passport as I doubt they will deny visa seeing the name mismatch
2.) how can I get it corrected

Any answer would be greatly appreciated

You can use the same passport.

Just give them your birth certificate that has your father's name in it. That will prove that he is your father indeed.
