Hi,
We need to renew my wife's passport which is going to expire next year. Before we moved to the US, we had shifted our home and do not have any address proof apart from sale-deed of new apartment. I have IGL, mtnl bill and sbi bank account on new address but my wife doesn't have any proof. Now, while applying for passport renewal on cox and kings website, for change of address, either of Aadhaar Card OR Recent Bank Statement from Government bank OR Drivers license OR Utility bill not older than 3 months is required to be submitted. I am expecting that a police inquiry will be done at the address mentioned in application so we have to provide something for new address.
Will the copy of address proof in my name will work? is there any way to get passport renewed in this case?
