Greetings of the day!
My son's passport is getting expired in May'17 and I need to get the same renewed from here in New York. We are currently in USA and our I-94 is getting expired on 12/31/2016 though we have already filed the same for extension through my employer and have got the receipt notice for me (got receipt of I-539 for my spouse and my son). I want to check if I can get my son's passport renewed with I-797 receipt notice and submission of passports for both me and my spouse.
Kindly let me know in case you need any other information from my side in answering the above query.
