Can passport pictures similar to those taken for US passport used in the OCI process? We got 6 Passport pictures and only used 2 for US passport. Can the remaining PP pictures used in OCI - or is there a restriction to not use pictures similar to those used in the US passport?
Can someone who used similar pictures used in US passport and OCI, please confirm?

make sure is plain white background passport printed in glossy photograph paper, and size of 2x2.

Seems they are not a stickler about any of the requriements for the picture.
Both CKGS and Embassy approved and used it despite photo appearing to be from too close (the face is too big).

So is it okay to use the same set of pictures as used in the US Passport?
(I don't want to find out later that OCI folks will reject if they are the same pictures as in the US PP. )

As a follow-up, I wanted to post my own response to this thread. I ended up taking new set of PP pics (did not use the left over ones from US PP). When I checked with CKGS NY personnel about this at walk-in, they said the same pics in US PP can be used for OCI, as long as the pics were taken within 6 months.
