I have prepped up the documents for my parents OCI + Renunciation (they are 60+ and 70+ years old) and at the start of the process I chose "Walk-in" for both their applications.
1. I have an appointment with CKGS NY on Tuesday for doc submission. Do I have to get any of their passport copies or forms notarized before I go all the way to NY for submission? This part is very confusing.
2. The idea of walk-in was because I decided to both submit and pick up their PPs (at the end of the process) in person from NY CKGS. But in both Renunciation and OCI document list, they have mentioned that I have to add a prepaid courier envelop for return of documents. Is this necessary? Can someone who did a walk-in please confirm if you have to submit a prepaid courier envelop, even if you decide to submit docs or pick up passport in person?
