OCI in India for minor

Hello,

My infant daughter will be travelling to India on an entry visa along with us. We plan to apply for her OCI in India (FRRO Bengaluru). It would be great if someone who has already done it can help us with the process and necessary documents.
1. Do we need to get the US birth certificate apostilled? If yes, what is the procedure for it?
2. Should the size of photograph be 50mmX50mm or no less than 51mmX51mm? The OCI application form says 50mmX50mm at the place where we need to paste the photograph but says no less than 51mmX51mm in the instruction sheet attached at the end of the application.
3. Shoudl the thumb impression of the baby be left thumb or right thumb? Some forums say right for girl and left for boy whereas some just say left thumb impression for either boy/girl.

This should be the regular passport size picture of 2 X 2 inches, which you can get taken anywhere including pharmacies.
