OCI Newborn- Signature Bearer in US Passport

I am planning to apply for OCI for our newborn child. For those of you who have done that under SFO, did you have to fill the signature of bearer portion in the US Passport or just leave it blank

We recently applied for the OCI for our newborn as well and left the bearer signature blank. The CKGS did not care.
