I am applying for passport renewal - i don't have any proof of Indian address - Can i submit my spouse proof of Indian address along our marriage certificate?

Hi,
We did the same thing (attached my husband's passport copy as it contains our India address, and our copy of marriage certificate with a covering letter). We have done this at the advice of CKGS Customer care. However, this was NOT accepted by the CKGS at Washington DC.
Since we do not have any other address proof, we had to send a consent letter to print the existing Indian address in my current passport (my parents address).
