Hi,
I am a naturalized US citizen. I came to US when I was a child. I want to apply for OCI.
-I never had my own Indian passport.
-My name was written on my mother’s Indian passport
- My mother’s passport has a stamp "cancelled due to acquiring US citizenship"
Can I apply for OCI by providing the copy of my mother’s cancelled Indian passport? Or do I need to get renunciation certificate?
What additional documents do I need specifically in my case? what is the fee.
