New OCI application - need US Passport returned for work travel purpose

Hello,

New OCI application - according to the ckgs tracker, my US passport is with Indian Consulate in SF.

Given their due diligence, etc. it might take them 10+ days for the passport to be returned.

However, I have situation where I need to travel internationally for work purposes.

How can I request ckgs and/or the SF Indian Consulate for an expedited review of the passport and have it returned within the next couple of days?

P.S. I really don't want to withdraw my application, since I've put the time, effort and money into the processing.

Why don't you just get a new passport. People who apply in person for an expedited passport are getting in a day

It is all because of one man from CKGS who made the worst decision, he insisted to collect the passport, but not requested by the Indian Embassy, the passport just received and send back, had never gone to the Embassy. not the decision from the Embassy.
