Hey IH peeps,
A lil update on my OCI journey so far. Its been more than a month since I applied for OCI + reun together. Mailed in both my passports after verifying the docs at a local OCI mela held by Houston consulate. Received my USP back within 2 weeks.
So far so good. But since then, nothing. NADA.
1.Is this the norm?
2.What's the process once the consulate receives the papers? Does it have to go to India and back?
3.I have travel plans to India in less than 2 months for an emergency. What are my options here?

Oh and I messaged CKGS on their website last week(the message box under 'your status' page. Still waiting to hear back anything
